Lose Weight In A Week With These Three Steps

By James Coen

Far too many people in the world today have packed on added pounds. There are many different reasons, some genetic, others environmental. Regardless of the reason, when we want to lose weight, it has to be fast. This article will look at three different weight loss plans designed to help you shed pounds in just one week.

Over three-fourths of the human body is made up of water. Therefore, we need a great amount of water to sustain our bodies. Because water is so vital to the human body, it is internally programed to retain water to protect against future need. The average person has 5 to 8 pounds of excess water weight. If we drink more water, we can take those extra pounds of water off. If you drink up to a gallon of water daily, your body will get the message that it doesn't need to retain any water, and then the already stored water will be eliminated from your body.

What's the second plan? Change your eating. Chose a diet that is comprised entirely of fruits and vegetables. One low-calorie, especially filling dish is the green salad. And in addition to reducing your caloric intake, you will ingest a lot more fiber. The fiber will help to cleanse the bowels by getting rid of much of the excess waste that is caused by eating foods that are bad for us.

The third weight loss plan combines the essential elements of the first two. If you both drink more water and eat more vegetables, you can lose weight quickly. You can supplement that diet with a reasonable portion of fish and poultry, as well as grains, for carbs and protein that your body needs. You'll fuel your body with the carbohydrates, which lets you burn the extra calories, and extra pounds, off as a result.

Weight loss will be a bit slower with this plan, but it does take a more healthy and balanced approach to dieting. It also allows you to take in the nutrients your body needs while ensuring your calorie intake is lower than the amount of calories you burn every day.

Following plan three, a balanced healthy diet, could cause you to lose between 8 and 20 pounds in a single week. That results assumes that you are carrying that many extra pounds. As most of us do, this is a very realistic weight loss goal. - 29951
